We provide a community based welcoming environment where emotional and psychological support is available for people from Halton whose lives have been touched by cancer. The Centre is open for drop in support between 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday and there are always trained listeners available if you need someone to talk to. Appointments are available throughout the week for one to one sessions with trained counsellors. Please contact The Centre if you feel you would benefit from some time with one of our counsellors.
Beauty and Complimentary Therapies
We offer reflexology, reiki and hypnotherapy appointments throughout the week and during term time we also have appointments available for beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures and facials. Please contact The Centre to book an appointment.
Drop-in and Listening
Trained staff and volunteers are here to support you whenever you call in. You can also ring during our opening hours for listening and support on the telephone.
We own a beautiful caravan on the Point of Ayr site in Talacre which is available to book for respite breaks and discounted holidays. Please contact The Centre for details of the booking process.
Children and Young People’s Service
If you have a child within your family whose life has been touched by cancer we now have a program which is delivered in conjunction with their school offering them a safe place to talk about their feelings and practical coping strategies. If you feel your child would benefit from this service please let us know.

A weekly craft group with a new project to try each week. No need to book a place, just drop in.

A new art activity each month, booking is required for this activity as numbers are limited.

If you work during the day or have family commitments then this evening group may be a good option for you, it’s a chance to chat to others with occasional activities organised and always a cuppa and a biscuit.

1pm to 3pm on Tuesdays at Runcorn Cricket Club
A lively weekly group with activities, chat and refreshments.
12.30 to 2.30pm on Wednesdays at The Centre
This is our Gentlemen only group where our male centre users get together to put the world to rights over a cuppa.
1pm to 3pm on Thursdays at The Centre
Our busiest group full of chat and laughter with refreshments and occasional bingo!
7pm to 9pm on the first Wednesday of each month at The Centre
Our breast cancer support group with an activity each month and refreshments.
